We owe so much to Kane for being so formative in shaping our young herd, and to his breeder, Wendy with Minterbay, for trusting him with us. Kane was our #1 guy from weaning until he died in the summer of 2025, having just turned 9. He was a quirky dude, even zany by some standards. We always thought he missed his calling as a medieval reinactor (he certainly would have been a jouster). Kane’s daughters all have a strong will-to-milk and no-nonsense work ethic on the milkstand that is one of the most prized attributes on this farm. He is missed, not only for his enormous contribution to our herd, but his easy demeanor. Here’s to all the peanuts and filbert leaves you can eat, Ser Kane.

TUA Farms BF Griffin *B
We had been wanting to add polled genetics to our herd for sometime but were unwilling to sacrifice production to do so. When we saw Griffin’s dam’s capacity and her milk record, we knew we’d found our guy. While sustaining a lacatation on once-a-day milking is important to us, udder capacity is critical as well so Giselle’s 7.0lb peak was noted with enthusiasm. Griffin is a stretchy, leggy fella dripping with dairy spirit. However, his dancin’ legs do put him overheight. We don’t have an official height on him but estimate him to be about 25.5.”
