We had been wanting to add polled genetics to our herd for sometime but were unwilling to sacrifice production to do so. When we saw Griffin’s dam’s capacity and her milk record, we knew we’d found our guy. While sustaining a lacatation on once-a-day milking is important to us, udder capacity is critical as well so Giselle’s 7.0lb peak was noted with enthusiasm. Griffin is a stretchy, leggy fella dripping with dairy spirit. However, his dancin’ legs do put him overheight. We don’t have an official height on him but estimate him to be about 25.5.” His price is adjusted accordingly.
