Hiraku is a half brother to one of my favorite does out of Stayawhile Farm’s impressive herdbook, Stayawhile GK Takara. He is a grandson of SGCH Rosasharn P Haiku 4*M VEEE91, an ADGA top ten doe in 2011 (1540lbs).
Cora Belle probably doesn’t need an introduction for other PNW herds. She was a top ten doe in 2012 and a doe I’ve long admired. She’s been able to test at, or over, 7lbs, demonstrating impressive capacity necessary for one-a-day milkers.

Kane has had four daughters freshen in our herd: Tui (x Flashdance), Loretta (x Wynette), Duckabush (x Elwha) and The Ruiner (x Onyxia). Tui, Duckabush, and Ruiner started their FF lactations over 3lbs and Loretta really knocked it out of the park with multiple 5lb tests as a FF. Tui, Duck, and Ruiner have moved on but Tui’s daughter Waaka remains in our herd. Bluejay is a Kane daughter out of Detour set to freshen spring ‘23.

Kane sired three sons with Maggie Mae in 2019 with all three going on to become herd sires. Pilgrim has remained here and qualified for his +B the first year he had daughters on test. Driftin’ Blues is working on the East Coast with the lovely folks at Whimsy Woods Farm.
