Wild In Wild K Pilgrim +*B

Pilgrim is ever and only known as ‘The Mouse.’ He was a wee little thing - the runt in a litter of four. He was never intended to stay a buck but both of his brothers were picked up quick as herdsires and his castration date was always ‘next weekend.’ Glad the little man stayed on because he had some breeding plans of his own. Due to his diminutive stature, he stayed with the does a *bit* too long and outsmarted his buck apron. We had an onslaught of baby mice in the spring of 2019. He picked his ladies wisely though - the three daughters that freshened here scored VV+V86, VVEV87 and +V+V84 (her dam scored an A+AA77 as a yearling first freshener). He makes improvements in shoulder assembly and rump width and all three first fresheners had outproduced their dams.

Mouse is out of one of our most striking does to date and the son of Minterbay HK Kane +*B, a son of Top Ten milker GCH Herron Hill CJ Cora Belle. He is a paternal half brother to our does, Loretta, Waaka, and Bluejay and his two daughters still working here are Emmylou and Betty Lou. Granddaughters are Penny Dreadful, Betty White, G-L-O-R-I-A!, and Nootka Rose.

His brother, Drifting Blues, is hard at work at Whimsy Woods Farm in Pennsylvania.
